Over the past few months, we’ve been busy bringing powerful new capabilities to Purchasely — from Flows and Privacy Levels to Safe Area management and Web Checkout for Android.
After delivering these innovative and foundational features, we took the deliberate time to stabilize, unify, and refine what we’ve built.
The SDK v5.5 release (changelog) focuses on strengthening the core — resolving multiple data discrepancies reported in recent months, improving consistency across all environments and ensuring that Flows is now fully production-ready for all apps.
[Flows] Gain insights and drive personalization with Flows
[Play Store Policy update] Web Checkout Now Authorized in the US and Supported by Purchasely
[Privacy]GDPR & Privacy Management
[Safe Area]Safe area in Screen composer
[Flows] Tailor the user journey based on user insights (Freemium)
Flows let you craft experiences that adapt to each user’s context — turning insights into personalized journeys that drive higher engagement and conversion.
Build onboarding flows that collect user insights and tailor the experience from the very first session, activation flows that re-engage inactive users with contextual offers, and retention paths that combine a cancellation survey with dynamic win-back strategies.
Respecting users’ privacy choices is at the heart of your concerns — and ours too.
With Privacy Management, you can precisely control which data processing operations are activated according to each user’s privacy preferences.
This ensures that the Purchasely SDK and platform always operate in full alignment with your users’ choices — keeping your app transparent, compliant, and trustworthy, without slowing you down.
[Play Store Policy update] Web checkout now authorized for US Consumers on the Google Play Store
SDK v5.5.0+
On October 29th, 2025, Google updated its Play Store policies for developers serving users in the United States, following a U.S. District Court injunction. These changes now allow developers to offer web-based payment options to U.S. users.
In line with this update, Purchasely now supports Web Checkout on Android, enabling you to manage external payment flows in full compliance with Google Play’s latest guidelines.
This brings more flexibility and transparency to your monetization strategy — and aligns the Android experience with what’s already available on iOS.
